MAP Matrix hit 2.0 in July — four weeks after it was five days old. Here's what just landed, and what's coming next. Updates ship weekly.
The original GoalMAP Workbook process, in the app. One question per screen: who you need to become, the obstacles you've been avoiding, the skills, people and habits it takes, your mission, your lines of effort, and the very next action. Step 6 builds your Matrix for you — each line of effort becomes a lane, each milestone a dated objective chained toward the goal. Nothing's compulsory: it tells you what you left open and picks up where you stopped.
Five pillars stay the default — they fit on a screen and in a head. But if you carry one more that won't fold into the others (the Army, a church, study, a community you serve), add it in Settings and name it yours. Lane colours are editable too, from a palette tuned to stay readable on every skin, or a full colour picker.
Pick any goal and the AI proposes the path, working backward from its date: quarterly signposts, this quarter's stepping stones, and your first weekly Main Effort. You tick what rings true, edit anything, and it lands on your timeline. 5 breakdowns included in your trial; unlimited on the Accountability tier.
Real notifications on your phone: ☀️ morning "your focus is ready" and 🌙 evening "close the day." At times you choose, in your own timezone, with separate weekend times — or any slot off entirely. One tap opens Execution.
How-to answers about any feature and a thinking partner for structuring your plan, right inside Help. Deliberately not a coach — accountability stays human.
Notifications and nudge times, appearance (OG · Light · Dark), a Desktop/Phone view override, timeline options, your name & details, email preferences and data exports — one cog, clean working screens everywhere else.
Your daily "did you win?" made visible: win streaks, a 10-week wins heatmap, review consistency, score trends across your debriefs, and badges to earn. In Review ▾ → Progress.
Line of Sight rebuilt goal-first: pick a goal and see the drums — achievable objectives — laid between today and it, with empty stops prompting the next one and a one-tap "make this week's Main Effort". A new 🛢 Build your Drum Line wizard walks any goal, any date, down to your very next step by halving the distance one question at a time. Execution became a two-way board (promote ↑, demote ↓, defer →), weekly mode groups your goals with their next drums, and the Brain Dump grew a one-at-a-time Prioritise stage (✂️ Manage items handles the re-filing).
The horizon now runs a full ten years down to this week. And the method behind it has its own guide — goal → signpost objective → weekly Main Effort → today's next step. If every link holds, the day is automatically meaningful.
Send anyone a read-only, zoomable view of a RoadMAP or GoalMAP — no account needed, revocable any time. Or subscribe your Google / Apple / Outlook calendar to a plan and watch it stay current automatically.
Daily Book-ends, the Weekly Debrief, a guided five-pillar Quarterly Review pre-filled from the quarter's objectives, and the Comeback Protocol for when you've been knocked off course — with every saved review in one history, and a Save / Email / Download choice on each.
Open the installed app and today's focus is the first thing on screen. A 60-second install guide (map.wintheday.com.au/install) walks every device through Add-to-Home-Screen — on iPhone that's also what unlocks the nudges.
All of it builds on the June engine room: the zoomable RoadMAP and GoalMAPs, the 10×10 Bootcamp, Brain Dump capture + triage, the five-item focus list, Daily/Weekly Execution with morning carry-over, the 3-GoalMAP focus cap, momentum tracking, and coach-linked accountability.
The next step for share links: let the person you've shared with leave comments right on the plan — a team member or partner weighs in on an objective without needing an account.
Drag to pan the timeline, pinch or horizontal-scroll to zoom, anchored to your cursor — navigating your horizon like a map, not a spreadsheet.
A training block like "4×/week" shows up in Execution as checkable occurrences — so recurring commitments get counted, not just drawn on the timeline.
A new marker for moments of choice — "by this date, decide X." Diamond on the timeline, pending → decided states, with dependencies feeding in and flowing out.
App Store and Play Store versions built from the app you already use — same login, same data, with lock-screen widgets and richer notifications. The installed web app is the bridge until then.
Sign in with Google, and let the MAP write to your calendar and task list — objectives, time blocks and to-dos flowing both ways. The live read-only calendar feed is step one, already shipped.
An illustrated map of your actual journey: your position advances as you complete objectives and hold your streaks, waypoints for every goal, and a gentle detour when you drift — because the next Main Effort always gets you back on the path.
Your MAP is waiting. Open the app and pick up where you left off.
