A habit tracker on your timeline

Most habit trackers live in their own app, cut off from the goals they're meant to serve. This one doesn't. Your habits sit as blocks on your timeline, beside the goal they build — tick each session, watch the streak grow.

The problem

Streaks are easy. Streaks that matter are hard.

A habit tracker will happily reward you for a 40-day streak of something that isn't moving your life forward. The reps feel productive; the goal stays exactly where it was. The missing link is connection — the habit needs to be visibly tied to the outcome it's for, or it becomes just another thing to maintain.

That's why the MAP Matrix doesn't put your habits in a separate app. It puts them on the same timeline as your goals.

How it works

Set it once. Tick it weekly.

1

Draw the habit as a block

On your timeline, add a period block for the weeks a habit runs and give it a plain cadence — “Gym 3× per week”, “5 sales calls a day”, “write every morning”. The app reads the cadence automatically. No separate habit setup.

2

Tick each session in Execution

While it's running, the habit becomes a weekly tally in your ◎ Execution view — the screen you open on your phone each day. Tap + Done, the pips fill ●●○○, and it resets every week. Forgot yesterday? Scroll back a day and tick it.

3

Watch the streak build in Progress

Your 📊 Progress dashboard lays out each habit's weeks — green where you hit the target, gold for a partial week — with a “hit 8 of 8 weeks” tally and a badge at a four-week run. Consistency you can actually see.

Why it's different

The habits that build the goal, tracked right beside it

Open your timeline and the habit isn't floating on its own — it sits under the goal it serves. Four gym sessions a week, right beneath “Run a sub-2hr half marathon.” Five calls a day, beneath “$1M in new business.” The daily reps and the ten-year plan, finally on one screen.

No other tool does this. Standalone habit apps don't know your goals; goal apps don't track your habits. The MAP Matrix holds both — because the whole point of a habit is the thing it's building toward.

Who it's for

Built for people running their own show

If your goals are big and your weeks are busy, the recurring work is exactly what slips first. The habit tracker keeps it visible — and honest.

Questions

Habit tracker FAQ

How is this different from a habit-tracker app like Streaks or Habitica?

A standalone habit app tracks habits in isolation. Here, each habit is a block on your timeline, sitting beside the goal it serves — so the daily reps and your ten-year plan live on the same screen. You see not just that you went to the gym, but why it matters.

Do I have to set up habits separately?

No. Add a period block with a plain cadence like “Gym 3× per week” and the app reads it automatically, turning it into a weekly tally in the Execution view.

What if I forget to tick a day?

Scroll back to the day you missed and tick it. The tally counts sessions per week and resets each week, so a forgotten day is a two-tap fix.

Can I see my consistency over time?

Yes — the Progress dashboard shows each habit's weeks laid out green (target hit) or gold (partial), with a running “hit 8 of 8 weeks” tally and a badge at a four-week run.

How much does it cost?

The habit tracker is part of the MAP Matrix, which starts at $37/month — replacing a stack of separate tools including a standalone habit app.
